Giant Vegetable - Leek

My university gave me the project to create any food I wanted, scaled up using polystyrene. The leek was made from a poly sculpted stem which was then scrimmed, then using plastazote foam to build layers of leaves with a final layer that covers the whole vegetable, made of sheet latex. Finally using Rosco paints to give it the white to green gradient.
